Nova Twins - Taxi (British, Londoners.)
Spotted this Band in Kerrang. And yes, I did a double take, it wasn't just that they were a FEMALE POC band in a predominantly male, white, rock-metal genre magazine, but that their clothes, hair and make up was wildly brightly coloured in contrast to the black and logo clothes and black eyeliner only make up you'd usually find in Kerrang.
I finally got to check them out and OMG these guys are amazing. I don't often find myself in the position of "watch music video on youtube... immediately buy track, watch another video, immediately buy track, watch another video, buy track before the video is even half finished." I have to see them live.
So what is their music like? Grime-Punk-Metal? Urban-Punk-Rock? Rapcore-Alternative-Rock? Putting the Black in Metal?
