Not exciting ones, crappy looking domestic chore robots. I've already got the programmable breadmaker and the timer programmable washing machine. Not exactly robots, but any device that can do domestic chores for me while I'm asleep in bed is a good 'un for me. I have little enough time as it is. Robots should be working away at night to make my life easier.

If I ever make it big on the Premium Bonds, then I intend to get...

A robot to mow my lawn. One of the most tedious chores ever, it might save the lawn from getting concreted over anyway.

A robot to hoover my house. I don't care how crap it is at hoovering, I hate hoovering.

A robot to clean the kitty litter. I mean, no one wants this job.

Just any old fecking robot for the hell of it. I can't help wondering if this is a spoof site, after all, no where does it say what the frigging robot is supposed to do.

Just give me robots ok! Or at the very least, more automated stuff with timers!
Any while you're at it, a massive solar panel to provide power for all these gadgets. Power up by day, work through the night.

Going by all the 'I' stuff in the trailer.. I think that the last one is to do with promo spoofness for I,Robot.. that recent film.

Ah! I,Robot rather than IPod. I ain't seen the film so the impact of the promo is lost on me.

See a film? Moi? I live in a hole, me...

I also haven't seen the film, but the robot looked familiar from the trailers I had seen. Clever little site though.. very nice :).

Seeing the film is hardly necessary if you are a die-hard classic sci-fi nerd like me ;)

Ghastly website too. Far too over-produced: if they were really selling a robot, I wouldn't buy it because they clearly have their head up their backsides.

Funny how it feels ok to say 'backside' in what I see as a relatively public place, yet 'arse' still seems ruder, even though the meaning is identical...

Arse-Poo-Arse!

Bah! I wish I'd never posted the IRobot link, I only mentioned it cos it was the only "Domestic Robot" I could find that didn't look like a deep-fat fryer on wheels.

Personally, I can't stop looking at the Kitty litter robot, and, (perversely,) lusting after it. But then handling poo is the one thing that really puts me off the whole "keeping a pet" thang. My cat ought to cross her legs until we can let her outside, that's why I got a cat in the first place - a pet that allegedly doesn't need it's poo scraped up all the time.
Gaa!

The cat litter robot does sound brilliant, and it comes in black. Maybe you should just buy one?

No way can I afford that! This year has been my Annus Horriblis for money. (Or Horrible Anus, I just can't resist another bottom reference.)
My cat doesn't deserve such expense anyway. Does she bring me game for the pot? Help with housework by licking the floor? Guard the house? Sort my mountains of paperwork? Earn her keep?
Bah! :-)

She's been known to make a wheezing/gagging flem-bubbly noise that could be described as purring. I assume it's purring, (since she vibrates,) but I couldn't be entirely sure.
Considering she's an asthmatic mog on permanent medication, perhaps it's a bit harsh of me to expect her to drag back big game.
An occasional houseworky lick-cleaning of the shower on the other hand. Is that so unreasonable?

A solar panel takes 10 years to generate as much energy from the sun as was used up by creating it. Sad but true. Also, didn't penny-arcade had a huge rant about the kitty litter cleaner, and how bad it was?
