I imagine a Regency mash-up between Charlie's Angels and this...

I may attempt to do a short strip along those lines, if I can summon up the energy.

Well... we went to a Ball, held at the Brighton Royal Pavilion! This was ages ago, on the 5th September.

Here we are coming into the Pavilion.



Normally, photos are forbidden, this was a marvellous opportunity to see the Pavilion in the manner for which it had been designed.

I may have got slightly squiffy.



But poor Dad was still in hospital that night, and maman had insisted I go to the Ball (like Cinderella) so I might have been in a bit of a mood to forget my troubles. Though at least I'd sobered up enough to ring for an ambulance later that night when Vargr (who did not go to the ball, and was quite sober) knocked himself out on the staircase at Bumcrack at 3am!

I'm very lucky to stumble through some very unexpected circles.
Doubt I'll ever have a chance to party like it's 1815 in the Royal Pavilion again! Had to nab it. :)
