Gala Nocturna 2015

motodraconisOur yearly pilgrimage to Gala Nocturna. Our gang gets bigger every year!
This year the theme was Swan Princess, and held for the first time in Brussels. Swans, both black and white, and multi coloured. Expect feathers!
Posting late, as I was scooping up my favourite photos from all the intrepid photographers at the ball. Beginning in the hotel, where as usual we congregated en masse. Here's me, A and Dr J, two Gala Nocturna virgins! (Vampyresheep photography.)

Me, in my lovely owl-print corset and dress by Wyte Phantom and Owl fascinator by Professor Maelstromme. Naturally, I wanted to go with an Owl theme personally. (Lindy van den Bosch Photography)
We'd been told there would be a light buffet, "for true swans only." When this was announced as open during the ball, and only for the "true swans" there was a bit of muttering. Some people were fretting that only the most gorgeous guests would be allowed to participate, maybe there'd be judging. But it wasn't like that, the buffet was free for all. All that is, who dared to eat canapes garnished with bugs!
