Been quiet, been busy...

SpaceGirl Episode 1

First Episode of SpaceGirl is now up, at long last, 3 shiny pages! Click the image to see it.
Feeling pretty chuffed, since it has been ages since I posted a toon, but then there has been loads of stuff to do, and more in store. It certainly has a different "feel" to the Green Room, more intense and well, less green. :-)

The story so far has made me smile and I like the believable bodies. Does her bum (or hers) look big in this miniskirt? Yes! Should it? Yes!

Grin! One should always strive for the believable bum.
Help me out here, I can't get it out of my head that the picture of Pie, (shown above,) reminds me vividly of [livejournal.com profile] ingaborg.
Mind you, I'm always seeing resemblances that no one else can see, and obviously Ingaborg doesn't have metallic skin and tats on her forehead.
(Ok, I'll get me coat...)

I can't say that a resemblance leapt out at me, but on closer inspection, there's something about the shape of Pie's mouth that is familiar...

I did wonder if my mind was playing tricks on me. Hope Ingaborg doesn't mind, any resemblance to persons purely coincidental. :-)

I agree

I read the comic before reading the comments (in case of plot spoilers :-), and I agree that I thought Pi reminded me of Ingaborg too!

Kittybudda is brilliant, I already don't want to own one, and they don't even exist!

I really don't want to own one...

My work here is done. :-)

hmmm .... the karma-kitsch saleswoman (maxi bum in a mini-pinstripes excepted) reminds me of a certain [livejournal.com profile] ingaborg ... maybe it's the hair?

I ♥ your karma. Pfff!

It is the hair! Honest, it wasn't intentional, Pie just came out that way.
:-)

I guess I don't know [livejournal.com profile] ingaborg to notice the resemblance, but I love the art work and story so far :-)

The only time you met her was at your CTS leaving do...

I was sure there were other times, but I don't even specifically remember her at my leaving do. I just have this vague mental impression, bolstered by a few on-line photos.

I might ask (or do it myself) if you could make an LJ icon of it, with the speech bubble about karma, its that good.

(Grin) I've been thinking about making an icon, but I dunno when I'll have a spare moment, so if you want to make your own, go for it. (I'd love to see it!) :-)
Someone did say they'd buy a T-shirt () with KittyBuddha on, if such existed, but they were a bit taken aback when I told them there were T-shirts available already. (Ooops!)

I like the Toon! I hadn't previously realised that Space Goth Girl was a trucker, but it all makes sense now. Pretty colours :)

I'm certainly not insulted that everybody thinks Pi is my alter ego - I'm a bit mystified since I don't think I've ever *had* my hair like that (long yes, two bunches no!), but hey, she's named for a transcendental number, and looks at the world through rose-coloured glasses, so it could be worse. Not sure I want to be associated with the kittybuddha though; I think it's sinister.

Though I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the implication that Moto sees me as a bossyboots who makes her deliver dreamcatchers through the galaxy...hey ho.

a trucker
I'd not thought of it that way, but it rather fits!
bossyboots
Grin, actually, the way I saw it, Kali, (SpaceGirl,) is being rather grumpy and ungracious about her job, and Pie, (her boss,) puts her in her place with admirable restraint.
:-)
