Something Cheery

I've been itching to post a cheery picture, and since I've been backing up all my files, I found this...



It's the "cover" from my student animation. Pretty ancient at 8 years old and done using papyrus and quill. (Sorry, I mean, 3DSr4.)

I'm definitely going to earn my battle scars after this project!! I'm trying to stave off grizzledness as long as i can (tho after 10 years in the tech industry I wonder how i do it!!), maybe this new job will be my salvation(:

I have fond memories of summer evenings; cycling over to your place for role-playing. Have you still got "The Banana"? I remember collecting it from the bike repair place...

I think I may also have a suppressed memory of riding pillion on your bike. :-)

I gave away the Banana to someone in dire need of transport. (You'd have to be in dire need to accept the Banana.) He broke it and dumped it on a rubbish tip. A little later I got a letter (with pics!) from a bloke who'd rescued it from the tip, fixed it up and was now using it. (He'd got my address via the DVLA.) I sent him the user history and my own pics of the Banana in pieces in the bedroom of my old flat. It's nice to know someone still loves the Banana.
Alas, I had to get rid of my big motorbike, I couldn't afford to run, (ahem,) 3 vehicles and the bike needed too much work on it. I'm insured to ride Other-Halfs bike if I need a bikey fix, but it's not as big as my old one. :-(
The free-form RP was the most fun I've ever played. I have fond memories of the RP and red wine in ingaborgs house too. :-)
