Yeah alright, it's a photo of my cat, how very original of me. But heck, I was bored!



This is my decrepid and ancient Mog. She's not very photogenic, generally pictures of her come out as shapeless black blobs or motheaten "still-death" images.
In spite of being a tiny runt on permanent daily medication, she has been able to tap into new and previously unknown reservoirs of viciousness and terrorises the neighbours 4 cats (each twice as big as her,) in order to sneak wheezily into their house and steal their food. The neighbours dog is forced to cringe in fright (in his own house) from her wobble-legged arthritic rampages.

It's not a very flattering picture. She is quite soppy (with humans anyway,) though since (I suspect) her eyesight and sense of smell isn't as good as it used to be, she's developed a habit of gumming, (she's lost alot of teeth,) the extended hands of strangers, in the hope of finding titbits there. This is an embarrassing habit, and not something I encourage myself, though, 1 out of 5 gummings does result in tit-bits, so as far as she's concerned, it's worth the risk.

My Crystal gums all the time. I had to ask about that when we got her. d: Seems normal for some cats as a way to mark with their scent, using the gum instead of just the cheek.

To date, we've sold 7 items with a picture of Thomas (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/members/stores/store_manage.aspx?storeid=edgeofinsanity) on: 3 T-shirts, 1 lunchbox, 1 tote bag, 1 mug and 1 BBQ apron.

Not exactly the big league, but it's just a snap of our old moggy and I've never advertised apart from the link on the Cafepress site. :-)

You could do some really cool stuff with all the art you've produced over the years...

It's worth doing just for the really weird feeling that total strangers are wearing a picture of your cat... :-)

I've seen your Thomas merchandise, (though I ain't bought any!) That's rather interesting that you've sold stuff though, especially as it's a pretty well hidden site, (which you set up for a laugh I believe?) In a few moments of vanity I had considered doing some stuff, but I could never think of a decent picture to use, or any stand alone art, (or maybe I thought people would laugh at me.)
Interesting, maybe I'm going to have to have a think of summat suitable to use. Maybe the old mog could earn her keep after all.

I did it to see how easy it would be. I was thinking that it would be a very easy way to produce game-related merchandise for the US market and also that I might produce some slightly odd t-shirt designs (chicken steadycam etc). In the event, I was setting it up at 1 in the morning and the Thomas pic was the only one that I thought was good enough...

Your cat picture is very good. I'd also like to see you using Uberich and the Good Luck dragon (and make sure you put the URL of the comic on too!) :-)

Your work *is* good enough and nobody with any sense will laugh at you.

My Wotan is 17, and has lost a front fang, which gives him a raffish "Get Fuzzy" look... Have you seen www.mycathatesyou.com ? Lots of really sinister-looking, hilariously cantankerous mogs.

Woah, just had a look, some pretty vicious looking felines there, I reckon my own mog could be a contender though! :-)
