the light from her bellybutton? um, you've lost me there! I use glow effects on the clothes, (the clothes are based on stuff I actually wear to work, some of which have UV reactive or reflective trims, so I glow those bits for no reason other than I love glowy stuff.)

I have considered the art-exchanges, but since building characters can be time consuming and my work deadlines can be sporadic, I tend to hesitant to promise work for others, especially a full beast. (Though I might have a go round Xmas holiday time if I'm free.)

Having said that, I'd enjoy building another dragonhead avatar. If you'd like one for your dragon, (for your own use,) give us a shout.

ok, I thought those glowy things were because she was some sort of fae and it was coming from her center of gravity or something. :D

art exchange: do you use 3d chars in your comics? x_X I just thought you drew those 3d and left it like that! X_X

And you'd just make an icon for me?! omg that would be so cool, I'd been drooling over your flipping tail luck dragon whenever I see it hehe. What do you need from me to get a head icon to work? :D

Hee, I wish I could draw that well! It's all computer gen, in some ways it's quicker, in others, it takes forever to build up all the environments and characters. That's the main reason I've avoided the art exchanges, people could reasonably expect their character of a standard to match the strip, and I just don't have enough time to spare to do that.
As for the icon, could you leave a description in the "Commentbox" (the first entry in my journal.) Emphasis on the head, and a basic emotion for the dragon, (happy, fierce, cheeky, that sort of thing,) and I'll attempt (attempt!) to capture that with a short animation. Some sketches would help me loads, they don't have to be pristine, a quick and rough sketch that captures the "feel" of the beast would do. I'll delete the comment after I've printed it out, but thats cos I don't want random visitors hassling me to build avatars for them!
You may have to wait a month for it, but hopefully no longer than that.

Maybe you could do a different colour of room?

I hear you on doing the longer, more complex strips (I have big urge for that right now) but I'll miss the details of your hallucinatory domestic existance ...

a different colour of room? Hee Hee, that room was pretty shocking in colour, you didn't have to live in it for 8 months!
Apart from which, my life is pretty unexciting, and I was running out of ideas, there's only so much you can do in a single room before things risk getting sordid.
Must admit, the prospect of a mega-strip frightens me, I've no idea if it'll work out, be just too big for me to handle in my limited time or end up really dull.
Still, I'll never know until I give it a try.

. . .it's always cool to see stuff like that articulated or somehow otherwise made tangible. Very nice work.

Cheers! I love allegory stuff, especially when it gives me the chance to build monsters. :-)

Hee I like the way the characs at the end said how they should be thanked for the deeds they do, even though they dont seem like good deeds they can inspire some people..

I look foward to your new strip ;)

The way I see it, if you're obliged to put up with such monsters, you may as well make 'em work for you. :-)
