Grumble....

I had hoped to go to Midian tonight. I am waiting on some important news (supposedly due this week) which could be good or dreadful. The plan was, if the news was good, I'd book a day off work, go to Midian and celebrate for a change.
As usual, the news never arrived, they say no news is good news, but in my experience, no news means "we'll leave you to stew for ages before handing you shit news, cos it's more fun to drag it out."

Apart from which, Other-Half has gone back down South to visit relies, and I really don't fancy being on the streets of Liverpool late at night by myself. Even though (fully gothed up) I would still be about 3 foot taller than your average skinhead Scally.

I hope so too, if it's good, I'll come to your party. If it ain't, I'll be in too bad a mood to socialise.
I think it's 50/50 at the mo, but the longer I wait, the less likely it is to be good news.

Dunno if you went last night, but me and a few friends will probably go to the one next month... it'll make a change from the krazyhouse :)

I didn't go in the end, stayed in and worked on the next toon. I really ought to go to Midian sometime though, (haven't tried it yet.) It's tricky for me, being on a worknight and having to be vaguely fresh the next day. Next month could be a potential. (Pending news and all that.)

I think next month is on a thursday again. Im in the same situation as you, id probably have to take a day off work on the friday (need to inform my boss 2-3 weeks in advance as well).

I think the organisers were saying something about putting it on a friday at some point which would suit me just fine.
