Will you be going to Kidlington? I sort of want to know whether your old place and mine got flooded (well, my garden, obviously not the actual flat unless it was a *really* deep flood!) and sort of don't want to know. On balance, I do want to know.

I wanted to see if my old home was flooded too! But though I didn't go through Kidlington, I did hear that the flooding there was far less than previously seen. They've got a new protective dyke thing. She's pretty good with sandbags apparently.

So nah, both our old houses were probably untouched.

I was a bit worried, but it was all well away from where I was in the end, had a lovely weekend ambling about and partying in sunshine. Twas ace!
