Budapest revisited!

Back to Budapest. I'm on a quest to visit every country in Europe, but Budapest is one place I have no objection to visiting again and again - I love the place!

Last time I visited was back in April 2012. Vargr was unavailable, so instead Red Min and I plotted to do an Eastern European flit!

Kárpátia Restaurant, where once the spooks ate dinner.

We were told that the restaurant was full, so we pointed to the empty bistro area and asked if we could eat there. They ushered us to a table...grudgingly. I was not upset, on the contrary, being in the bistro meant we would dodge the gipsey musicians. Phew. Then when the waiter came to take our order, Red Min told him how her father used to eat here, back in the day (the day of spooks!)
The waiter hustled away, and 5 minutes later... oh my! There happens to be a space free in the posh restaurant. Mysterious.
Unfortunately, this did mean we were unable to escape the gypsey musicians. Red Min is impressed.

The Great Market Hall.

Meat!

Giant sausage!

Paprika.

Dohány Street Synagogue.

We really wanted to go inside, but miscalculated the time in between visiting the hot springs and Passover.

Gah, we'll just have to come back.

Buda, the upper town.

Matthias Cathedral.

Army Teds.

Why buy smack...

...when you can have Premium Smack!

Or how about some cat logs? For the cat-hater in your life.

Washed down with a can of...

And, er...
