The Trouble with Love and Sex
May. 6th, 2011 09:54 amMy co-worker has just completed a series of animated documentaries with the BBC, The Trouble with Love and Sex.
It'll be airing next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC (for those of you in the UK) so take a look. It's a pretty interesting idea. These are real recordings of real people going to marriage counselling (Relate) including a single person receiving counselling on relationships. Obviously, they didn't want to be identified, hence animations (that do not resemble the original speakers) to preserve privacy.
There are more clips on the website, but it goes into some pretty emotive stuff, a beautiful example of how animation literally "married" with a particular subject matter can really touch the viewer.
